eSIM Installation Guide
Complete guide to install and activate your eSIM on iPhone, Android, and other supported devices.
Before Installation
Check Device Compatibility
Most modern smartphones support eSIM. Check if your device is eSIM-compatible before purchasing.
- iPhone: iPhone XS/XR/11/12/13/14/15 (and newer)
- Google Pixel: Pixel 3/4/5/6/7/8/9/9 Pro (and newer)
- Samsung Galaxy: S20/S20+/S21/S22/S23 (and newer)
- Other Android: Most Android devices from 2019+ with Android 10+
Carrier Unlock
Contact your current carrier to unlock your device for eSIM use. Most carriers provide free unlocking.
Note: Some carriers may charge a small fee or have specific requirements.
Stable Internet Connection
Ensure you have a stable Wi-Fi connection during installation. eSIM activation requires internet access.
iPhone Installation
Open Settings
Go to Settings > Cellular > Add Cellular Plan.
Add Data Plan
Select "Add Data Plan" and choose your eSIM provider.
Scan QR Code
Use your iPhone camera to scan the eSIM QR code from your email.
Confirm Activation
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete activation.
Android Installation
Open Settings
Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile Network.
Add Carrier
Tap "Add Carrier" and select your eSIM provider.
Download Profile
The eSIM profile will download automatically.
Activate eSIM
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete activation.
After Installation
Enable Data Roaming
After arriving at your destination, enable data roaming for your eSIM.
Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Roaming.
Set Default Line
Set your eSIM as the default line for calls and data.
Settings > Phone > Default Line.
Remove Physical SIM
Remove your physical SIM card to avoid confusion.
Use SIM eject tool or visit carrier store if needed.
Troubleshooting
eSIM not showing up
Restart your device and check Settings > Cellular. If still not visible, contact your eSIM provider.
Activation failed
Ensure you have stable internet and the QR code is clear. Try rescanning or contact support.
No signal
Check if you are in a covered area. Try toggling airplane mode off/on.
Data not working
Verify APN settings and data roaming is enabled. Contact your carrier if issues persist.
